Goals and Purpose of the GEA
The purpose of the GEA is to increase participation of English students in departmental and administrative activities, to initiate funding and special events targeted at professional development, to provide forums for students to receive faculty feedback on scholarly work, to increase student morale, to contribute funding for graduate students presenting papers at professional conferences, and to establish orientations for incoming students. Membership is open to all graduate English students.Free Web-Based Courses

Subscribe to the GEA listserv
The GEA and the department regularly post information regarding job information, conference notices, and poetry and fiction readings, all graduate students should subscribe to the listserv.
You may go to the GEA listserv homepage and follow the onscreen instructions on how to signup. Please include your name in the optional name field.
